Travel Grant Application

The Asian Geographical Association (AGA) announces the availability of travel grants to help defray partial costs of participation in the 5th Asian Conference on Geography taking place during 5-9 September, 2022 in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam.

In selecting applicants to receive awards, preference will be given to keynote speakers / national representatives from developing countries. Because the funds available for this awards program are extremely limited, the AGA Secretariat will be able to cover only international travel expenses for the successful applicants. All applicants will be required to cover other expenses on their own for their participation in the conference.

Applicants must submit an abstract of your paper, acceptance notification letter together with this application form to the email address acg2018@igsnrr.ac.cn no later than August 1st, 2022. Late applications will not be considered.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their requests on or about August 5th, 2022. The AGA Secretariat will purchase the air tickets for successful applicants after receiving the scanned copy of their passport and visa to Vietnam. Direct any questions regarding AGA Travel Grant applications to: acg2018@igsnrr.ac.cn
